Guidelines [image upload terms]
You must have created the images yourself. Analog / digital and AI creations are accepted.
You must own the rights to your submitted images. AI images must not contain any likeness to actual people [dead or alive] or any known film or cartoon / anime character, or refer to any brand or organisation or contain corporate logos. While we love all things edgy, overtly sexual or violent content or content depicting any individual, race, ethnic group or minority negatively, are not permitted.
Analog images where a person or people are featured will require written permission from those depicted. Permission may not be required whereby the image is clearly in the public domain.
The above terms refer to your initial three images and any content of yours being displayed on Art Gratis at any time in the future.
★Art Gratis cannot be held responsible for any misleading or false information you submit, but you do bear that responsibility and may be prosecuted for any infringement of the law.
Once approved, You can then send us between 20 and 100 high quality images [jpg or png or both] to display in your gallery. You retain full copyrights to your artworks. We simply seek your permission to host and share strictly via our own channels and only for as long as you permit. Note: We have no control over third party applications that store historical versions of our website such as 'Wayback Machine'. Users can download your artworks for free under the same terms as outlined in our 'Simple License' in the footer of each page of Art Gratis.
Note: Your high resolution images are only compressed for display purposes. The original file remains exactly the same as when you sent it to us and this high res. unaltered file is what the user receives when they tap the 'Download' button. You can request the removal of any or all of your content at any time. This may take a few days - we're human :)
So how do I benefit from being an Artist on Art Gratis?
We can think of at least seven reasons:
1. You are offering free access to a selection of your images in return for a free portfolio [gallery] on Art Gratis. Yes, that benefits us, but it benefits you too!
We offer our own images [in the thousands] for free, because we've seen that 'Free' is key, for traffic generation, engagement and loyalty.
But our main focus is on curation. We're less interested in stock images and more interested in original, creative, artistic ones.
We want to create a community of artists, whereby users, including buyers, collectors, agencies & fellow creatives, can access more high quality curated content and faster, giving them greater choice.

Your niche, style, vibe, originality, magnificence etc. may appeal to them and they can contact you directly and commission or hire you, buy your work. or even become collectors of it - We're artists too and we get it, there's no easy path, but we know that putting your work out there is absolutely essential for things to happen.
While you're waiting on that seemingly elusive break, at very least you'll have your own pretty cool, if we say so ourselves, professional portfolio - your images are not randomly scattered among thousands of others. Your portfolio will load fast and requires no fees. And, a discerning audience will see it! - Art Gratis is a new global platform, with a current average of over 80,000 views per month and growing.

As each artist has their own page, you can also share the url [link] directly to your portfolio.
3. Your images are AI tagged within a couple of days of upload which makes them much easier to find via google and other search engines.
Our onsite search engine is powerful and highly responsive to keywords.

4. A live link to either your website, blog, other portfolio or social page [you choose] will be prominently displayed next to your name / pseudonym at the top of your gallery page - Interested parties can connect with you via your live link. Also, If we receive a query about your work or work of a similar style to yours, we will refer the person directly to you - It's in our interest to do so and we seek no commission on any transactions that may occur.
5. Your gallery can be found via our prominent homepage menu under 'Artists' . Once we've selected our first few artists, the current artist's page will be renamed.
6. Your Biography will appear underneath your gallery, so interested parties can learn more about your process, approach, work history etc. [all optional] In your bio. space, you can offer services [free or paid] and a contact email and also add a second live link - provided it is related to your practice.
7. Viewers can comment on your work directly on your gallery page.
