In the vivid imagination of our in-house artists, since the year 2040, yes you read that correctly, the 'Festival of Royals' takes place over a weekend each October in London, England. Apparently, as official royalty no longer exists, Buckingham palace tour operators invite the public to dress up as royals and swan around the grounds during the novelty event.
Visitors can try on numerous garments and costume jewellery and have their portrait taken sitting on a throne or just hanging out in one of many elaborate settings. We sent an imaginary team along to cover the event and this image, created using AI and a bucket load of image editing tools, not to mention blood sweat and tears, is one from the imaginary shoot.
